THE STORY
Born in Milan, graduated in architecture and design at the Polytechnic of Milan
Guglielmo Berchicci opened his studio in a old refurbished warehouse in "zona Tortona"
the renowned city area for design, photography and fashion studios
and nowadays know for the Milan Design Week exhibits events.
He thus begins his activity as architect and as a art-design "maker"
he was part of the emerging group of young designers on the Milan scene, which catalysed by the masters of design such as Alessandro Mendini, Nanda Vigo, Ugo la Pietra, Ettore Sottsass, gave birth to the "emotional design" movement , which brings new lifeblood to Italian design.
He was invited to participate in the most avantgarde design exhibitions and his works was permanently on sale in Dilmos, the first and historical art-design gallery in Milan, together with other emerging young art-designers as Maurizio Cattelan, Danny Lane, Ugo Marano, and many others, which are still internationally recognized.
In a few years thanks to the participation in exhibition and events and to the publication of his works in the most know international design books and magazines he start to collaborate with Italian industrial furniture company and he create many successful icons of the Italian design.

Curator and designer of numerous design exhibitions for companies or for important associations such as Anlaids by CONVIVIO, in prestigious spaces as the Triennale di Milano, involving more than hundred world-renowned artists, designers, stylists and photographers, for charitable purposes.
